Prior to joining the family business in 1971, Steven taught African American history in the Detroit Public Schools, studied in Ethiopia, and taught for two years in Zambia at a U.N. sponsored school for refugees. Today he is known for his unique custom deluxe travel itineraries. His loyal clientele will vouch for his boundless knowledge, creative resourcefulness, wit and charm. Steven is the 'travel agent's travel agent'. Active in the industry nationally, he sits on the board of Virtuoso, a carriage trade association of marketing partners to which Bee Kalt Travel Belongs.

Together they have worked, socialized and grown personally. Together they have weathered airfare wars, technological advancements and the rewards of loyal client relationships. Shari began her career in the travel industry 20 years ago. Shari’s passion for travel ignited during her junior year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. Italy remains one her favorite places to visit for the culture, art, history and the pasta!
She is an avid traveler and has cruised on all of the major cruise lines. Her family vacations have included many resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico. She has also toured Italy and Brazil with her teenage children. Shari is active and enjoys organizing yearly spa trips to Canyon Ranch. Her dream trip is to go gorilla trekking in Africa.

My Recent Trips
I have visited Thailand, Iceland, China, Russia, cruised the Mediterranean twice, and also cruised to Alaska and the Caribbean. My favorite destination was Russia and part of the reason why is that I was there in January when Moscow had the biggest snow storm and had to close all five airports. Luckily, I was on the midnight train traveling from StPetersburg to Moscow. It was very interesting to see how they dealt with snow removal.
I recently returned from Russia and Las Vegas!
